CLEVELAND
In 1925, the Commercial Air Mail (CAM) route had already been in operation for
seven years when the new terminal was inaugurated.
In 1929, the first air race was organized, and in 1930, Cleveland became the first lighted airfield for
night flights, as well as the first air traffic control service in the country
