History
The goddess takes flight
The Citroën DS is a French car built from 1955 to 1975. Designed by Flaminio Bertoni, it stunned with its daring lines and its innovations: hydropneumatic suspension, swivelling headlights, a power-assisted hydraulic gearbox and a display of braking distance according to speed.
In the 1965 film "Fantômas se déchaîne", the master criminal's DS sprouts wings and flies away before Commissioner Juve's eyes. A cult scene of French cinema that you can now fly yourself.
