History
The airline pioneer
The Farman F60 Goliath was born from an F50 bomber that arrived too late for the First World War. Farman turned it into a passenger aircraft.
On 8 February 1919, a Goliath flew 12 passengers from the Paris area to London in about two and a half hours. The aircraft went on to great success throughout Europe and as far away as Cuba.
