Overview
Toussus-le-Noble 1935
LFPN TOUSSUS LE NOBLE - FARMAN AIRFIELD LFP1 BLERIOT - AEROPARC The cradle of French aviation Robert Esnault-Pelterie created the first airfield on a plateau in the Yvelines. He welcomed his fellow pilots to his field for a test flight and invited the public to each of his attempts. In 1909, Maurice Farman created his airfield in the commune of Toussus-le-Noble. Then, the aviator Louis Blériot chose the airfield of Buc to create, within his company Blériot-Aéronautique, near Paris, for the testing of aircraft and the training of pilots. In 1910, Moran and Breguet moved to nearby Vélizy, Borel moved to Châteaufort and finally Caudron in 1932 to Guyancourt.
